The great privilege of being a celebrant is the opportunity to connect with people on a very meaningful and personal level and to be a witness to some of the most profound moments of people’s lives. When working as a mother, teacher, coach, trainer and manager, I developed a sophisticated blend of personal and communication skills. Every working moment as a celebrant is an opportunity for a precious and meaningful connection between me and the people who trust me to caretake the most serious, emotional and joyful elements of their celebrations. I love supporting families and individuals in naming a child or an older person who has adopted a new name. It is also a privilege to be included in a coming of age ceremony or in the blessing and warming of a new home. I love to develop ceremonies for communities, providing the chance to bring people together, especially when this can connect them to the seasons, the elements and the natural world.

I work with all the different ways that couples might choose to express their commitment and devotion to each other, whether or not this involves a traditional marriage, a civil ceremony, a commitment ceremony or a renewal of vows. I have been trained by Civil Ceremonies in Naming and Couples Celebrancy and also in Handfasting and Other Spiritual Elements for Ceremonies. I particularly enjoy creative and non-traditional celebrations.

As a motorcyclist I can lead biker ceremonies on my red and white Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster.
